Data Deletion and Account Deletion
How AntiRusty handles account and learning-data deletion requests.
AntiRusty respects your right to delete your account and associated learning data. This page explains what data is involved, how deletion works, and what may remain for limited legal or payment reasons.
What Data We Collect
AntiRusty may store your account email, password hash, account creation date, vocabulary items, FSRS review history, output-session records, device diagnostics, crash reports, purchase receipts, and subscription status.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When deletion is confirmed, we mark the account as deleted, revoke active sessions and refresh tokens, remove learning data from active systems, and remove your email and authentication credentials within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Subscriptions Are Not Automatically Cancelled
Deleting your AntiRusty account does not cancel a Pro subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately in Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings before or after requesting deletion to avoid future charges.
How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion in the app through Settings > Account > Delete Account, or email [email protected] from your registered address with the subject "Delete My Account". Include your registered email in the message body. We will confirm the request within 5 business days.
Data We May Retain
We may retain limited records only when needed for legal compliance, payment records, security investigations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup cleanup. Retained data is limited to what is necessary and kept only as long as required.
